Jim has been blogging at his domain since early 2004. He got his start on the Mac platform as a design artist in the early ’90s and created the Mac OS X utility Yasu in 2002. In 2017, he turned the app over to another developer. Today, Jim works as the Director of Salesforce Applications for VIZIO, now owned by Walmart, where he runs the team responsible for their Salesforce initiatives. He is a Salesforce certified administrator, developer, and consultant. Other nerdy experience includes Microsoft SQL, MySQL, HTML, CSS, PHP, Javascript, and just enough Java. He can still get decent results out of Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop when he has to. The Open Source Research Institute (OSRI) is an umbrella organization dedicated to promoting parallel computation.
